Bassam Massouh is an international merchant whose practice was built over two decades of commercial activity across the Middle East, the Gulf, and Europe. Born in Homs, Syria, he developed deep expertise in Mediterranean trade circuits, industrial commodities, brokerage, and real estate.
In March 2026, he founded AURONEX SAS in Lyon to give institutional structure to a practice that predated the company itself. AURONEX is not a startup — it is the formalisation of a network, a discipline, and a value system built over twenty years of operating experience.
His approach to commerce rests on a central conviction: that the most resilient transactions are those grounded in durable relationships, built on transparency, keeping one's word, and documentary rigour. He operates in two languages — Arabic and French — with a focus on trusted counterparties across Europe and the Arab world.
